Letter to an Unforgotten Princess

Dear beautiful Princess,

Do you know how special you are?

Do you know you are royalty?

I know there are times when you are led to believe otherwise. Days when it seems nothing is going right, and the world seems to be against you. But please know these are only feelings and they will pass in time. The fact still remains you were created with purpose – a purpose to live, to be great, to be loved by the Father, and to be the best you there can be!

In life there may be days when you feel misunderstood, lonely and even used, but I want you to always remember there is a Princess inside of you who is longing to shine brightly even in the midst of darkness.

Don’t let the world take your shine! You don’t need to minimize your gifts, talents or ability. You never have to prove yourself or try to make someone like you. Neither do you have to try to be someone else. There is only one you and you deserve to live your life, beautifully and creatively without restriction.

The world is waiting for you to show up unapologetically. You can be powerful, vulnerable and brave enough, to rise from the silence amidst all of the noise. Your voice must be heard. Your gift must be shared and the God-given dreams you placed on hold must be brushed off and dreamt again and again.

Speak to your Heavenly Father; believe, plan and step forward.

I will admit stepping forward is not always easy, but don’t allow fear to keep you from forging ahead. Remember, it is almost impossible to walk or drive ahead while looking back. It’s definitely not safe.

The things you have encountered could not destroy you even if they tried. You have been sustained by God’s Mercy.

If you look closely, you will see even those moments of seeming defeat you experienced have made you stronger than if you had not encountered them at all. Perhaps, you cannot receive this concept now, but keep pressing ahead and one day you will look back with a smile and say it was well worth it all.

The process allows us to become brave a,nd resilient. So go on, brave warrior Princess hold your head up and not down. Don’t be ashamed because your journey doesn’t look like anyone else’s. Let your shoulders rise and no longer shrug in anguish for you were created with purpose.

• For every negative word which tries to cloud your mind, refute it with a positive one and the Word of God.

• For every person who does not appreciate you, realize there is someone who does.

• For every time you feel like giving up, don’t.

Say this out loud each and every day to help you remember how much you are loved:

Psalms 139:14

Beautiful Princess, may you arise from the ashes of brokenness and live! You deserve to be loved and around people who value you for who you are right now. Remember, you are God’s designed original Princess and you are not forgotten!
